Ingredients
Original recipe (1X) yields 6 servings

- 1 (16 ounce) package Regular Flavor Jimmy Dean Pork Sausage
- 10 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 3 cups milk
- 2 teaspoons dry mustard
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 6 cups cubed bread
- 2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1 medium tomato, seeded and chopped
- ½ cup sliced mushrooms
- ½ cup thin-sliced green onion
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- Cook sausage in a large skillet over medium-high heat, stirring frequently, until thoroughly cooked and no longer pink, 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from heat.

Dotdash Meredith Food Studios - Distribute 1/2 of the bread evenly into the prepared dish. Sprinkle with 1/2 of the sausage, 1/2 of the cheese, 1/2 of the tomato, 1/2 of the mushroom, 1/2 of the green onion, and 1/2 of the black pepper. Repeat layers one more time. Pour egg mixture evenly over casserole.
